Bake 52: Black and White Cookies

This week's recipe was hosted by Janet. These are very pretty, fancy cookies. They are also the largest cookies I've ever baked. I served them to my sewing group and the all agreed that the vanilla frosting tasted better with the lemon in the cookie than the chocolate frosting did. We all thought they were very yummy!

Grab the recipe over on Janet's blog and try these. They are easier to make than they look - and they look fabulous!!!

Very pretty! I think lemon and chocolate would not be my favorite combo either, but vanilla and lemon. yum!

Your icing looks so pretty and smooth. I am jealous.

I agree, your icing looks rockin'! I've always been intiminated by the icing part of black and white cookies, for some odd reason.

They look perfect. I loved the dramatic look of the chocolate against the white, on such a large cookie. This was a fun one.

I have to say I am a little jealous of all the baking you are doing. I made some chocolate chip cookies last week and that was the first I had baked in months. Where are my priorities? Justin did make me a smore over the stove the other day and it reminded me of us in your moms kitchen with very messy faces. :)
