Date Night

Since Nick is working such late nights, we try to have one date night each week. This Tuesday we went to Chinatown in DC.
They have a ton of restaurants around, but we were running late, so we ate at Ruby Tuesday instead of trying a more local place. Then, we went and saw Toy Story 3 in Disney 3D! It was our first 3D movie, and we really enjoyed it. The Toy Story movies are, in my opinion, the only success Disney's ever had with a series of movies. Other sequels don't usually live up to the original, but they really nailed it with all three of the Toy Story shows. We laughed A LOT and I teared up a few times. If you haven't seen it, you really should.

After the show, we stopped at Crepes on the Walk for a little dessert. I eyed them a couple of times before the movie, and a guy standing around let me know I should definitely try one. "The best crepes in DC," he said. I think he was right. I got one with strawberries, sugar and lemon. It was deeeeelicious!

Um-what about the Cinderella series? Are you trying to tell me the following ones aren't as great as the original?!

Found your blog from Ady's. I loved toy story 3. I felt stupid I was crying at the end-but looked around and realized I wasn't the only one!

What an awesome area to be in for your "Date Nights"!!! (Endless AND coolest venues to choose from!) Lucky you guys! Those crepes look just like the ones you can buy on the street in Paris. I'm curious what they were charging, price-wise, in D.C.?
