Some good ol' home cookin'

I spent much of my day Saturday cooking. I have finally perfected my grandma's roll recipe. For the second time in a row they have turned out just right! My mom always made homemade rolls and chicken noodle soup on Conference weekend, and I decided I would finally try my hand at it. I had never made egg noodles before, but it was actually pretty fun. I learned a lot and the soup tasted delicious, although I overdid the noodles a bit so it's more like noodle-chicken soup!

I've started that tradition at my house too! (well not rolls yet) I'll have to do that. I just like making soup! :D But it's so much work I think I'm justified in only making it about every 6 months or well... so far it's only been the October conferences so make that, once a year.

YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! That looks absolutely delicious... I can almost smell that fresh, homemade roll smell just by looking at the picture =).
I like that tradition... I might have to copy it! So far all we have for conference traditions are donuts and chocolate milk on Sunday morning conference... and let me tell ya, I slave over making those donuts for hours! ;)

I'm fairly certain you should invite me over to your house conference time to make sure your rolls and soup taste okay:)

homemade rolls is still something I have not tackled since being married. I am sure I could manage, but since Justin is not a bread person I just have not done it. Yours look delicious and with homemade soup even better.
