How we've been keeping busy

Nick and I are working the early morning shift at the Provo Temple every Wednesday. It has been a wonderful experience. We are learning a lot and meeting many great people on our shifts.

I have been helping a sister in our ward redecorate their condo. She really wanted to sell some of their furniture (they had three couches in their small living room) and give it a more open look. Her husband told Nick last week that I am making his life difficult, but his wife assures me that he is very excited about the new tv she threw into the deal of getting a new couch after the others sold! Here are some rough pictures of some of the furniture ideas we came up with. We bought everything for the kid's room, now we just have to work on putting it all together.

Nick has kept busy working on our Buick. After a new radiator, water pump, thermostat, coolant temperature sensor, etc. he is still playing mechanic to help "Phil" live as long a life for us as possible.

Last weekend we drove with my dad to Grand Junction. It was Meg's first birthday, and it worked out perfectly that dad had a meeting that very day. We had a great time eating homemade pizza - YUM, playing with the girls (who both liked us this time!) and watching the birthday girl eat her cake. Thanks again, Nicole & Tristan for inviting us to the party. You're the best.

That pizza looks so yummy! I think we should do dinner instead of sugar cookies for our next nauvoo get together.

So fun! I'm definitely a little jealous that you made it out to the birthday, but I'm so happy too! Hope all is well with you!
