A Whirlwind Weekend
I finally did it. I finally gave in to my friend Nicole's request to read the Twilight series. She sent the first few books with me to California this summer, but I never got around to reading them (although I did read The Host).
Now that the movie is coming out soon, I finally felt the pressure of at least reading Twilight. Once I started, I couldn't stop-I would finish one book and immediately pick up the next. They were so captivating! I read ALL day Saturday and Monday. Poor Nick wondered if I would ever come back to reality. He even had to remind me to eat before he left for school :)
I am now proud to join the ranks of Stephenie Meyer fans! Thanks, again, Nicole!!!

I am surprised that it took you this long to read them. You were always the little reader of the group! :) I have not read them...maybe one day. But have a million people out here who are IN LOVE with them!
I think you did it the right way, waiting until they were all out and just read straight through!! I hated the waiting process for the next book.
