Book Fair

I love the book fair! I remember when they would have them at Durrant. I LOVED to go look at the books, pencils and gadgets. The walls of my room were adorned with some of the cheesy posters . . . kittens cuddling in a hat, horses trotting in a fields, and more! I got finished a little early with my parent/teacher conferences and spent an hour looking at the books. What fun!!! I enjoyed picking books out for my classroom (especially because parents were paying for them) and also got some fun books of my own.

I loved going to the book fair. I could spend hours in there. That is one of the things that I miss most about teaching. I can't wait until Kyle is in school and I can start doing book orders again.

Oh, how I remember book fairs. You girls loved them!! You would be so excited to take some money to school and spend every penny. I actually loved them myself. I did get more excited about the books than the posters and pencils, however. Yea, for book fairs!!

I loved Scholastic book orders! I don't really remember any fairs, but I do remember figuring out ways to beg my parents for the money needed to buy those precious paperback books!
