Think Big
Nick went through a phase (I hope) in October where everything was BIG!
First, he went out and bought the largest pumpkin he could find at Macey's. We still have it in our freezer to make pies and cookies with.
Then, he walked through the door with a big box a few days later. Apparently they had a sale on chicken, but in order to get the good price, you had to buy 40 pounds of it. He did--and spent the next 4 hours cutting and preparing it to be frozen. Any good chicken recipes out there for us to try?

Nick is just so... practical. I love it :) The bigger the better (or cheaper in this case)! I'm always a fan of the chicken taco... very easy, quick and always yummy.
Nick is just planning ahead! Big house, big car, big salary, and a year's supply of chicken in the freezer ;-) One of our favorite chicken recipes is Chicken a la orange. You mix 12 oz. of frozen orange juice concentrate with 2 envelopes of Lipton's onion soup and pour it over and around chicken - either whole or in parts. Bake covered for about 1 hour @ about 400 degrees F. It makes a fantastic sauce which we like to serve over brown rice. Enjoy!
I love the big boxes of Macey's chicken. Justin and I have participated in them twice now. We are still working on the second box. I am also pretty sure it would not take you long to regain any of your craft skills.

Hey, I just make a pumpkin sheet cake last night, should have called you to borrow some pumpkin! :) We'll be over next week for chicken dinner.
So, Nick and Emily, you apparently aren't vegetarians! That's a lot of chicken. I know who we're calling if there's a chicken shortage.
