HOUSE!
That's right, folks. We are officially home owners! The papers are all signed, and all we have to do is go there tomorrow, pick up the keys, and start moving all of our stuff in. We are finally really excited about it (after wondering what we were thinking/freaking out about how much homes cost/worrying there was something better out there - especially Nick who is the real worrier in the family). After not seeing the space for a month, it was nice to see it before signing all the papers on Wednesday. It helped us remember why we loved it.
We will really miss our current apartment. It's been a really great space for us. The new place happens to be in a different Ward/Stake. That means leaving behind the amazing ward we're currently in. I'm sure we'll enjoy the new ward as well, but I don't look forward to starting over meeting people.
There will be pictures coming eventually as we move in, get settled, and of course work on projects and decorating. It is a 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath condo a few blocks from our current apartment. It really is a dream space for us, and we're really excited to call it home. You're all invited to come visit us!
As I pack, this clip of Gilmore Girls pops into my head occasionally (starting 40 seconds in). Don't worry, we were much smarter about our purchase than TJ and Liz ; )

Congrats on the new house and I'm so glad you posted that clip! When we were buying our house and escrow would come up I remembered that episode and so wanted to reference it, but was pretty sure the realtors and mortgage loan officer would have no idea what I was talking about so I just laughed inwardly.
Can't wait to see pictures and even better will be when I can see it in person.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is so exciting! I know it's kind of scary at first--but once you get all moved in, you'll be so happy to own your own place. Can't wait to see the pictures!
