As I approach 30, and after two straight years of living a completely sedentary lifestyle, it is time for me to get in gear and start getting back in shape.
Today I started a water fitness class - woohoo! When I was young, my dad took me to Las Vegas to visit his Aunt and Uncle. Ever since Aunt Nancy took me with her to her water aerobics class, I have wanted to do one. This summer Kristen and I went a few times, and I found that I really like water workouts.
I am starting out with the abs and glutes class. It's good times, let me tell you. I have no muscles anymore : ( I feel right at home with all the old ladies!
I am posting a video sample of one of the ab moves we did. If it looks awkward watching her do it out of the water, trust me, it's even more difficult when you're floating in water with your arms out to the side. My favorite move of the day was the side bike, although I couldn't seem to go backward on my right side. I felt (and probably looked) extremely uncoordinated.
P.S. My ultimate goal is to end up with arms like Susan Foster!

Hi Em! I loved seeing the pictures from your UT/CO trip, and we are so glad that you guys survived all of the craziness out there with earthquakes and hurricanes! And great job with the water workouts!
