Jepsen's Visit Continued

It's been a week since Nick's parents left and I'm finally posting the rest of their trip. We had a great time with them. Here's a re-cap of the rest of their week.
SUNDAY:
The Washington, D.C. Temple is always a must-see.

MONDAY & TUESDAY:
They visited Candy and Bethany and their fabulous families in Philadelphia.
Madeline & Marisa preparing the table.

Candy & Bethany preparing the food.

The Paynes

I assume this guy is some sort of Philly mascot, but I don't know any details :)

The Liberty Bell

Independence Hall

WEDNESDAY:
We went into the city for some site-seeing.
The Holocaust museum.

It's cherry blossom season! The thousands of trees around the Tidal Basin were beautiful, but we thought they'd be prettier if it was warmer outside.

THURSDAY:
Visiting Nick at his office.

The Library of Congress.
Who could pass up finally getting to watch the BYU basketball team play? That is one thing we miss out here.

FRIDAY:
Some exploring closer to home.
We went to see a friend's art on exhibit in downtown Bethesda. We also saw this amazing Comic store and had a great time exploring there.
Next we went Duckpin Bowling here in Silver Spring. It's like regular bowling, except the pins are shorter and the ball is much smaller and lighter. The pins don't knock each other down like in regular bowling, which makes it much harder to get a strike. Nick was the first to get one.

I LOVE the little bowling balls! Bowling with those would be easier on my arm. Haha! And yes, your hair looks pretty! :)
