Provo Tabernacle

I was sad to hear the news that the Provo Tabernacle burned down this morning. It was such a beautiful building, and was part of many memories for me. When I was a little girl, my family spent Easter at my grandparent's house. In April, 1990, they had Stake Conference Easter weekend in the Tabernacle. I can still picture in my mind where we sat, and my grandparents sitting with my mom, brother and sister. We also sat next to a nice lady who gave me a Book of Mormon with her testimony in it, in exchange for a picture I colored of a bunny eating a carrot! I still have that book.
Nick and I attended many of our own Stake Conferences there as BYU students.
It was also where he officially graduated from BYU Law School.
Seeing this picture made me want to cry. Provo won't look the same without it.

I think this is such sad news as well, Emily :( I have so many great memories, especially spiritual memories, there. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

That is so sad to see it with smoke billowing out.
