Magazine Monday: Gift Wrapping

I have had this page from a Martha Stewart magazine for a long time. They used felt to create holly leaves and berries and pine branches with pine cones for gift/stocking decoration.
Here are this year's loot decked out in festive felt decor!
This year, all of Nick's gifts will have the pine theme. I didn't feel like buying paper this year, so I used newspaper. I think it looks better in person than in the pictures. For tags, I am using the round paper ring labels you can buy in bulk in the office supply section. They are really easy to attach when you're tying on the ribbon.
I didn't have any brown felt, so I used real pine cones I already had on hand.
For the leaves, you cut out an oval, hot glue a wire and strip of felt to the back, cut angled fringe and shape the tips. They were super fun to make.
My gifts are showcasing lovely holly berries. Just cut a strip of red felt that tapers to a point at one end. Start at the thick end and start rolling it up, then glue the last tip and you should end up with a nice little ball.
