Temple Experience

Today I went with the youth of our ward to the Temple to do baptisms for the dead. It has been quite a few years since I've been part of baptisms, and it was my first time as a leader. It was really great to see so many kids put their lives on hold, missing games, practices and other activities, in order to participate in Temple ordinances.
There were three new 12-year-olds going for the first time. It was really special to help them and be part of their first time experiencing the spirit of Temple work. They are so young and innocent.

I am grateful for a calling that offers so many opportunities to feel the Spirit and for the blessing of having a Temple so close.

Love that temple. Makes me wish I could go back in time and do baptisms at Nauvoo again.
