Went on a road trip!

Our first stop was
Berwick Offray in Hagerstown, MD . . .

We spent over an hour in ribbon heaven . . .

You wouldn't believe the prices. See those grocery bags? All the ribbon in them for
50 cents! 50 yards of gross grain for
$1.25. Rolls of the cute patterned ribbon you find in craft stores for around $2.50 were on sale
20 for
$1.00. We went to town . . .

Nat, this is for you to make your hair bows!

Our next stop was
Hershey, PA. Where kisses sit atop the lamp posts . . .

Welcome to Chocolate World . . .

We were guided on our tour by this handsome cow . . .

And these three singing beauties . . .

We had so much fun on the ride that we went twice . . .

They show you a running total of what they have produced that day. The kisses went up a million just from our first tour to our second . . .

A chocolate bar big enough to share . . .

A kissable hat . . .

Goodbye friends . . .

We tried to stop in Amish country on the way home, but it was already 5:00 and they turn in early. Maybe next trip.

i can't believe how much fun you guys are having!!! can't wait to hear what comes next!
I do not think that chocolate bar is big enough to share...
Can't wait to check out all that ribbon!!! The Hershey place looked like fun. Who doesn't love chocolate.
Emily, I am loving reading your blog!!! Wish I could be there with you, your mom, and Aunt Lana. Maybe you could hire out as a tour guide :-)
So fun!! Glad you enjoyed Hershey. I've only been there to see a play, oddly enough, never to the chocolate side of things. I think that needs to be a lifetime goal for me! It's so close to philly.
