Family Easter Egg Hunt

A HUGE thank you to Aunt Layna and Uncle Clint for hosting our family Easter egg hunt. It had been way too long since we've all gotten together, and it was so much fun to see everyone who was able to come.

Here are lots of pictures of the great fun we had:

The crowd waiting to be let out of the gate to search for the
250 hidden eggs
.
The hunt is on!
Count 'em up and share the spoils.
(We always count to make sure they were all found, then split them up evenly between the kids)
Emmy eagerly awaiting her basketful of candy (she had it half eaten in about 5 minutes!)Family picture time.
It's no small task to get 18 great-grand-kids and a dog to sit still all at once!
Success!The grand-kids
We missed you Gretchen, Clarissa, Jed and Audrey.
The "kids".
(If any of you, or your parents, have a better front-on shot of the families I would love to get a copy)

Emmy really likes Great-grandpa. She often sits on his lap or stands close to him.
Some fun shots
Kelsey snuggling with Grandpa
One happy Kamdyn

Me & Emmy
Nick guarding the eggs

After the egg hunt Dallan and Ryan wanted to put on a show for me from their "stage". Ryan was the singer and Dallan was the musician. Emmy and Owen joined in for the fun.
I wonder what Lauryn was so sad about, the boys look as happy as can be.
Emmy's chicken-armed shoulder shruggin' dance moves.
Owen was not letting that ducky out of his hands.

A little video of Dallan drumming and strumming, Ryan singing and dancing and, of course, Emmy taking a trip to her basket for more candy!

I haven't checked blogs in a while apparently because you have been one busy girl!!! :) I LOVE your bunny. She is so cute! I love seeing all of your cute ideas and projects...it motivates me to be more productive. Apparently I need to check your blog 3 times a day for regular motivation because I really don't get a whole lot accomplished :) I need some Emily motivation! I missed you at scrapbook expo :( we will have to get together next time we are close.

I'm so glad you took pictures - my camera was in my purse the whole time but I can't seem to remember the all-important getting it out step.
