Apples and Bananas
Nick is at his second round of interviews at a firm in New York City. It is his first time in the 'Big Apple' and it sounds like he is enjoying himself so far. He took a nice shuttle ride from the airport and got to see the wonders of Queens. His hotel is in Times Square and he enjoyed walking around at the shops tonight. He walked by Broadway and promised to take me to a show there sometime and also enjoyed a stroll through Central Park. He will interview tomorrow and then head right back home.
Today was yellow day at school and we had bananas for our treat. Unfortunately, I didn't know how many bananas to have the parents bring, so they just brought one for each student. We only ended up eating half of them, so after unloading a couple of bunches on other teachers, I came home with 14 bananas! Can anyone say "banana bread".

I love New York and you have to see a show on Broadway!! I saw 42nd street and Aida loved them both, there is just nothing like it!! yum bannana bread!
Maybe you can have "red day" when you need apples and "purple day" if you feel like eggplant! Good luck to Nick in NYC! It is exciting to think about where you guys could end up!
Give me a call when that banana bread is done, we'll help you eat it all!!! :)
Enjoying the blog. Fun to see what life would have been life without kids in college. Got to your sight from Candy's. We love banana bread in our house. Nothing better than hot out of the oven with a little butter. Got to go raid the fridge now. Later.
Love banana bread, with walnuts. My mom makes AWESOME banana bread, she just made some the other day. Wait til the bananas are almost mushy, you know, and the peel is turning black. Did you know that my brother screams like a girl if you put a banana peel on him? True story.
