This week I made two desserts from recipes found in a magazine and online. The first is easy peppermint brownies.
This was in an article about what to do with left over Halloween candy.
You simply mix up a box of brownie mix, and pour half of it into a greased 8x8 pan. Then, place 16 mini York Peppermint Patties on top and pour the rest of the brownie mix over it.

Step 1: Make the modified cookie dough. Nick thought it had too much chocolate, so you might want to put less in - unless you're like me and love the extra chocolate!

HELP! I need both of these right now for FHE dessert! They look SO good, especially the mint brownie. Yum!
I love your Magazine Monday posts! Those are such good ideas. If you ever need taste testers, I think we could fit in our schedule. I'm joking!
That's awesome! They both look yummy!
Both of those desserts look yummy. Thanks for sharing the recipes.
Thanks for the fun recipes, Emily! I have a dumb question: Where do you buy parchment paper? Thanks :-)
Wow, those look delish!! Thanks for letting us live vicariously through your blog, Emily :)
Mmmm...I'm hungry. Remember the Treasure Cookies in Nauvoo? That's what the mini cookie pies remind me of.
Those look so good. Next time I get a chance to bake I'm trying one.
I just found your blog! Hello!! I love your recipes! I shall have to try them!
Wow, I really wish you hadn't posted this. :) But since you did, I guess I'll have to try everything. I love that parchment paper idea, by the way. Great tip.
